Conceptual | UX\UI

The Problem

How to spend a few spare hours in an unknown country.

The Solution

An app that allows you discover new places by using one of two options:

Local - A spontaneous traveler who would like to discover local places that are not shown in the tourist books. Tourist - The conscious traveler who wouldn’t want to miss key activities (FOMO)

My Role

  • UX

  • UI

Wire Framing

After a short market research and some interviews I began working on the app wireframes, which reveals the "local" flow of the app. The Wire Framing includes Onboarding, Search, Search results and activity page. When I started to work on the design I found ways to make the process even better.

Design

Target audiance for this app are young spontenious people. The chosen logo reflect the main purpose of the app - getting places and enjoying the travel process. I chose a young color pallete for this app and created a components and UI elements to maintain a unified design voice across the platforms.

Onboarding

Main Process

Onboarding

The first encounter of the user with the app.

supply a short explanation and guide for the use of the app.

Search

A step by step process, designed to supply a wide range of results in a minimum configuration time.

Later on in the process the user can enter advanced search for more refined results.

Journy and Activity

This is where the user can explore different "journeys" by different users, and explore new activities.
